Oswaldo A. Grenardo, MD, MBA, MS, Chair

Board Chair

Family Medicine Physician, Denver

Oswaldo A. Grenardo MD, MBA, MS is a Colorado native. After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in human biology, he moved back to Denver to work in health care administration, earning a combined Master of Science in Health Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his internship and residency training in family medicine through the University of Colorado at Rose Medical Center.

Dr. Grenardo currently owns Access Family Medicine and is Medical Director of both the Rocky Ford Family Health Center in Rocky Ford and of the Centennial Family Health Center in Ordway, Colorado.  He serves on the Clinical Faculty of the University of Colorado Family Medicine Department, and as Assistant Clinical Professor at Rocky Vista University in Parker. Dr. Grenardo is also on the clinical staff at Parker Adventist Hospital, the Medical Center of Aurora and Sky Ridge Medical Center.

His interests include health disparities and diversity issues in medicine and health administration.  In his community work, Dr. Grenardo has served as Executive Director of Colorado Physicians of Color, Board Member of the Diversified Physician Section of the Colorado Medical Society, Advisory Member of the Colorado State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership Advisory Board, and President and Member of the Colorado Minority Health Forum.

Dr. Grenardo was one of six Pisacano Scholars in the country for his demonstrated leadership in medicine. In addition, he was an Adler Scholar, and recipient of the Virginia Schuman Scholarship, the Diversity Scholarship at the University of Colorado Medical School, the Dean's Diversity Scholar at CU, was honored with first place for the Health Administration Division in the U.S. Secretary's Award for Innovations in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Contest, among others.

An avid sports fan and dedicated family man, Dr. Grenardo says he remains excited to be in Colorado working with close friends while serving the Parker community.
