President and Chief Executive Officer, Telluride Foundation
Paul Major is a longtime resident and active community member of Colorado. He has led the Telluride Foundation since its inception in 2000. The foundation contributes millions of dollars in development, grantmaking, capacity building and other initiative efforts. Prior to joining the Telluride Foundation, Major served as the Director of Business Development for Booth Creek Ski Holding’s six resorts. His experience in the ski industry includes Vice President of Athletics and Alpine Olympic ski coach, overseeing all athletic aspects of the six Olympic sports of the US Ski Team.
Major received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and studies toward a master in Mechanical Engineering. He currently serves of the board of Bright Futures for Early Childhood and Families and EPIC (Executives Partnering for Invest in Children).
