Director of Programs
Colleen Church joined Caring for Colorado Foundation as a Senior Program Officer in 2011 and became Director of Programs in 2015. Prior to joining the Foundation, Church served as a Senior Program Officer and Program Officer at the Colorado Health Foundation where she focused on grantmaking to improve Colorado’s health care systems and to address Colorado’s health care workforce challenges. Previously, Church worked with the Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office as the western lead for program development. In this role, Church worked with communities in 10 states to design, fund and launch new programs to partner maternal and child health nurses with low-income, first time moms to support long-term family improvements in health, education, and economic self-sufficiency. She has additional experience in the corporate and education sectors and is a Colorado native. Church holds a master’s in public affairs with a focus on health policy from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
