Changes to the 2024 Children, Youth and Families Pueblo Funding Cycle

The Packard Fund for Pueblo’s advisory board launched a new strategic planning process this Fall, which included a robust review of the current strategic plan and a comprehensive community engagement process. As we finish our existing strategic plan, we are committed to providing grant funding as we develop a strategic roadmap to direct the next phase of our work. However, there is a change to our upcoming grant cycle.

The 2024 Children, Youth, and Families grant cycle will only be open to organizations that received consecutive funding in both our 2022 and 2023 Children, Youth, and Families grant cycles. Eligible organizations will receive direct communication from foundation staff, along with the information needed to submit a renewal application.

This decision was not made lightly. Our staff and advisory board determined it was critical to prioritize the work of our current grantees in the last year of our existing strategic plan. To do so requires our full annual grantmaking allocation. We acknowledge the unintended consequences for organizations seeking funding and understand this disappointing news.
