Emma Carpenter

Philanthropy Associate

Emma grew up in Lakewood, Colo. She studied public health science, women and gender studies, and sociology at Santa Clara University, where she received her bachelor’s degree. After spending a few years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Emma decided it was time to move back to Colorado.

Emma joined Caring for Colorado in 2019 and currently serves as philanthropy assistant. She enjoys learning about different communities throughout the state, coordinating foundation gatherings, and providing support for grantees and prospective grantees. She is passionate about health policy, mental health, and childhood health and development.

In her free time, Emma enjoys traveling, live music and sports, reading, and laughing with friends and family. She spends as much time as possible with her two dogs, both in the great outdoors and curled up on the couch.
