Emma Carpenter

Grants manager

Emma grew up in Lakewood, Colo. She studied public health science, women and gender studies, and sociology at Santa Clara University, where she received her bachelor’s degree. After spending a few years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Emma decided it was time to move back to Colorado.

Emma joined Caring for Colorado in 2019 and has worked in several roles during her time at the foundation, and is currently serving as grants manager. She enjoys learning about different communities throughout the state, coordinating foundation gatherings, and providing support for grantees and prospective grantees. She is passionate about health policy, mental health, and childhood health and development.

In her free time, Emma enjoys traveling, live music and sports, reading, volunteering, laughing with friends and family, and anything cat related.
