Rachel Galvan serves as Caring for Colorado’s controller supporting the accounting and finance functions.

Rachel’s career spans more than 20 years and began as an auditor at KPMG in Houston, Texas. She then transitioned to Corporate Treasury for a large public software company. After relocating to Denver in 2008, she continued to work part time for various small businesses when her kids were young. Most recently she served as a Fractional Accounting Manager at Ascent CFO Solutions.

Rachel holds a Master of Science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. She is a certified CPA and serves as Treasurer on the Northfield High School Foundation board.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys watching her kids on the soccer field, yoga, walking with a friend on a beautiful Colorado day, baking, reading, and exploring new restaurants with her husband.
