Carley Noerr joined Caring for Colorado in September 2024 and serves as the operations and project manager. In this role, she manages projects across the organization and helps inform best practices for including diversity, equity, and inclusion across operational functions.

Before working at Caring for Colorado, Carley worked for the Denver Preschool Program, which helps Denver families access and pay for high-quality preschool education. Prior to that role, she spent more than 12 years in corporate accounting and operations, specifically in broad-line food distribution.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and is pursuing a master’s degree in public administration. Carley is also a certified nutritionist and a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success. She is especially passionate about nutrition justice and how culturally relevant nutrition access impacts childhood development.

Carley volunteers with the Foodbank of the Rockies, Metro Caring, teaches children’s performing arts, participates in local sports leagues, and has sat on several boards and committees. Outside of work, Carley enjoys hiking, weightlifting, crafting, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

As a teen, Carley’s favorite hangout/past time was video games and roller skating.

Carley’s favorite place in Colorado is anywhere there are fall colors or fresh snow!

“Throughout middle school and high school, I volunteered at a farm dedicated to animal-assisted therapy for young people who had experienced trauma, a program providing education and life care services for young people aged three to 22 who had varied levels of intellectual and orthopedic disabilities, and also at my local community theater.”
