2025 Annual Report

Dear friends of Caring for Colorado,

2025 was a pivotal year for Caring for Colorado. We began implementing our ten-year strategic roadmap, grounded in a clear commitment to eliminate disparities in health, well-being, and opportunity for young people ages 9–25 who face inequitable outcomes due to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, stigmatized identities, and disability.

To advance this goal, we invested $16.8 million through 206 grants to 185 organizations across Colorado. These investments supported youth health and well-being, expanded access to reproductive health services, strengthened comprehensive sex education in Latina communities, increased access to school-based mental health and wellness programs, advanced public policy and advocacy efforts, and deepened our place-based work in Pueblo County.

Each grant reflects our belief that lasting change begins by listening to young people, understanding their experiences, and partnering with communities and the organizations that serve them. Our approach prioritizes primary prevention and early intervention—critical areas that remain too often underfunded and underdeveloped.

We are working to ensure that every young person in Colorado can navigate adolescence with hope, resilience, and a strong sense of possibility. The stakes are high. Today’s young people will shape the future of our state, and their success depends on the opportunities we create now.

We invite you to join us in unlocking their potential and advancing equity in health, well-being, and opportunity across Colorado.

In this report, you will find detailed financial information, a full overview of our grantmaking, and stories from partners working every day to help young people thrive.

Thank you for your partnership and continued commitment to Colorado’s youth. We welcome your insights and feedback as we work together to make Colorado the best state in the nation for young people.

In health,
