Carl Clark is currently the visionary leader for the Mental Health Center of Denver, a leading agency in the world of behavioral health care. Clark joined the Center in 1989 and served as the Medical director until 2000 when he because the Chief Executive Officer. As the current President/CEO, Clark is dedicated to helping the organization reach its goal of being the Center of Excellence in recovery-focused care with the best mental health services in the country.
Clark received his BS in Zoology and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma before going on to complete a psychiatry residency at University of Colorado. Clark has served of many boards and councils within Colorado and the nation including the National Council of Behavioral Health and the Colorado Access Board of Directors. Clark is the current board chair of the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council where he brings his considerable knowledge and expertise.
