Who We Are
Heidi began her accounting career in 1984 at KPMG’s middle-market practice, specializing in small to mid-size companies, including nonprofit entities. Six years later she helped start a local private practice, Kundinger & Associates, one of Denver’s first public accounting firms exclusively serving the nonprofit sector. In 1993, Heidi transitioned from CPA to “stay-at-home mom” as she, along with her husband, raised their four children.
In 2007, Heidi returned to the workforce, focusing on philanthropy as controller for Caring for Colorado and coordinating the Foundation’s Finance Committee. She recently served on the Highlands Ranch Community Association Finance Committee and currently serves on the supervisory committee of a local credit union. Heidi also serves in various capacities at her church.
She received her bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Denver, is a certified public accountant, and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and Colorado Society of CPAs.
Heidi most enjoys taking in the beauty of this state through cycling, skiing, hiking and watching sunsets from her backyard.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
