Melody Morshed, MPH

Philanthropy Lead,
ReproCollab

Melody joined ReproCollab (formerly the Colorado Collaborative for Reproductive Health Equity) and Caring for Colorado in August 2021. Previously, she worked in academic and nonprofit settings in roles encompassing project management to assisting laboratory research. She completed her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Colorado, Denver, and her master’s in public health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus. Melody’s passion and focus throughout her professional and academic career has been health equity and addressing health disparities for underserved communities.

In her professional and personal life, Melody has dedicated her time to ensuring that reproductive justice is prioritized in all the spaces in which she has lived and worked. She believes that access to reproductive health is critical to the health and autonomy of all our communities.

Being new to the philanthropic sector, Melody believes her diverse work and academic background will bring a unique perspective to the Collaborative as she learns from community partners and advocates advancing reproductive health equity access the state.

When not in the office, Melody is probably walking her huge mutt, Bean, or cooking something garlicky in the kitchen.
