Our Staff

Rikki grew up in Colorado, having moved to Thornton from Idaho when she was just 6 months old. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2013. After interning with a nonprofit in college, Rikki realized the immediate impact that local organizations could have on their communities and knew that was where she wanted to focus her work.

Rikki joined Caring for Colorado as the executive assistant and board liaison in November 2021. Before that, she worked in the mental health nonprofit and government sectors in a variety of operational and executive support roles. Rikki enjoys supporting the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors with her attention to detail, dedication to process improvement and  willingness to continue learning.

When Rikki is not at work, you can usually find her reading a good mystery novel, cooking up something delicious in her tiny kitchen, or binge-watching reality TV shows with her husband, Dustin.
